Biography

As a child I have always enjoyed going outdoors and when I did, I would bring whatever items I found of interest home. When I would go on family trips to Michigan, whenever we would drive to the St. Joseph beach, I would start my scavenging there. I would walk along the shoreline for the time being and collect shells of all sizes as well as rocks that caught my interest. I would bring them home from the trip and clean them up using a brush to scrub away any debris that was on those seashells and rocks. I would then observe the details of those shells and rocks and appreciate the natural beauty of them. After I was done looking at them, I would neatly store them in plastics Ziploc bags and put them away for safe keeping. Throughout the years I would do the exact same thing and go back to the same beach and scavenge for the best rocks and shells that I could find and sort them in plastic bags.
